About Pastor Jim Beck
Our pastor grew up on the other side of the fence from the Allenwood Federal Penitentiary, and while he has been inside to visit, they have never retained him. Raised on a dairy farm, he loves the country life. Evendale was a perfect fit for him.
In 1983 he received a Bachelor of Science in Bible from Cairn University (then Philadelphia College of Bible). In 1986 he earned his Master of Divinity from Grace Theological Seminary. That was a banner year because he also married Melissa. God has blessed them with three boys (now grown).
He is a Bible teacher at heart and loves to explain the Word of God so people understand it and can relate it to their lives. Jim enjoys playing the piano, gardening, and figuring out how to fix things.
